Eat in Raleigh

Dave, Rita and I had a nice weekend. Rita and I missed Taiwanese food. Dave was first time to eat it. So, we decided that eat Taiwanese food in Raleigh.


On September twenty-ninth, 2008, in the morning. I waked up at 7:00 Am because after three hours I was going to eat traditional Taiwanese food in Raleigh, I was so excited! However, I woke up to early ,and I didn’t have anything to do. I decided that I was going to open my Acer computer and take a shower.

When my computer was opening, I took my clothes, soap and shampoo to the shower. When I finished shower, I saw that my brother used the Yahoo messenger to call me. He said,’’ I quarreled with my girlfriend because she broke her promise’’. When I was chatting with him, his girlfriend called to him.

After the few minutes, he told to me that he reconciled with his girlfriend because his girlfriend said sorry to him. I told to him it was good news, but I told to him I had to go to pick my friends up in Raleigh. We said goodbye to each other.

Then, I made a phone call to Rita and Dave. I told to them that I was going to your home to pick them up. Please, get ready for our trip. I brought my bag to drive my car to Rita’s and Dave’s house. After I picked all of them up. I set my navigation to Raleigh.

On the way to Raleigh, I found my car didn’t has enough gas to make it to Raleigh. I found a Shell gas station ,and I stopped my car in front of a gas machine. I went to Shell cash desk to pay thirty dollars for my gas (Rita and Dave gave me twenty dollars). I went back my car to fill up my fuel tank ,but it didn’t work. So, I went to the cash desk to talk about my situation, an employee quarreled with a customer. The employee was angry. Whatever, I asked him about the gas machine didn’t work and he gave me back thirty dollars.

So, I had to find another gas station to fill up my fuel tank. I drove over 3 miles and found another shell gas station, the gas was expensive, and I filled up my fuel tank. Then, we continued on our trip.

We arrived at our destination, Raleigh. We found our goal, the Great Asian Market, and we were excited because Rita and I hadn't eaten traditional food for a long time, and It was Dave's first time to eat Taiwanese food. I ordered a fried pork meal, Rita ordered a smoke pork meal ,and Dave order a beef noodle meal. Dave and I took some picture of our meal. Rita forgot her camera, so she couldn't take a picture. We finished our meal, and the meal was worth the one and half hour drive.
After, we were going to a shopping mall, but it was similar too the Four Season Mall. We didn’t take much time in there but it was ok for us, because we ate the Taiwan traditional food.

To eat home country food was the most important thing. Rita, Dave and I had a nice weekend in raleigh.
